Pair available for Honest Men
Ayr include youngsters Robbie Crawford and Mark Shankland in their squad to face visitors East Fife just two days before the duo head for a second trial with npower Championship side Birmingham.
The Honest Men also have David Sinclair available after an ankle injury, however they will miss Neil McGregor and Adam Hunter through suspension along with the injured Kyle McAusland (hand), Martyn Campbell (knee) and Michael McGowan. (knee)
Player/manager Mark Roberts said: "Our games with East Fife usually involve goals and hopefully this one will be as well but with Ayr scoring more than them.
"We have dominated the games against East Fife this season but only have one win to show for it as we have shot ourselves in the foot in every game. Hopefully we won't in this game."
Second bottom East Fife make the trip looking to repeat their 3-2 success at Somerset Park earlier this season without the suspended David Muir.
Steven Campbell returns from injury, however Darren Smith is struggling with an ankle knock.
Methil manager Billy Reid said: "I have been involved in two games with Ayr which have seen 11 goals scored.
"We won a game 3-2 after being 2 goals behind and then drew 3-3 when we were in front and these scores tell you that both sides are strong and where both sides need to improve.
"Ayr are a decent side who should be higher up in the table than they are and I reckon that they have strengthened their defence now so we will have to work hard to score against them this time."
