Ayr United have completed the signing Andy Aitken and fellow defender Kevin James.
Andy Aitken, 31, arrives from Queen of South, having ended a second spell with the Dumfries club while Kevin James, 33, was released by St Johnstone after a loan spell at Somerset Park at the end of the season. Kevin was key to helping Ayr win promotion to Division One.
The former Falkirk, Hearts and Airdrieonians defender has signed a one-year contract, as has Aitken.
Meanwhile, goalkeeper Stephen Grindlay and strikers Mark Roberts and Ryan Borris are the latest players to sign new contracts with Ayr for next season.
Ayr expect midfielder Kenny Connolly, the only member of the current squad still to sign, to put pen to paper on his return from holiday.
