David O'Brien has been released by Ayr United after being unhappy at not featuring in last Saturday's match at Stirling.
The ex Dundee star, who had only recently signed for Ayr, had a short chat with manager Brian Reid on Monday night after training and he was on his way, not happy at not being guaranteed a place. Its to the Manager's credit that he stands no nonsense and no room for big heads.
