Ayr United have bolstered their squad by signing former Clyde defender Billy Gibson on a free transfer.
The 28-year-old right back was one of 12 players who agreed to terminate their contracts at Broadwood to prevent the club going into administration.
Gibson started his career at Rangers before agreeing a move to Partick Thistle in 2004, moving to St Patrick's Athletic three years later before joining the Bully Wee in January 2008.
Billy brings more strength in Ayr United's defence as they prepare to nutrilise the first division strikers fire power.
